In summary:

Early Years Foundation Stage

In 2023 72.0% of children achieved a Good level of Development at the end on the Early Years Foundation Stage compared to 67.3% of children nationally.

Phonics Screening Check (Year 1)

In 2023 87% of pupils in Y1 met the phonic check threshold compared to 79.0% of children nationally.

Key Stage One (Year 2)

Reading

In 2023 83% of pupils were working at the expected standard, compared to 68% nationally.

Writing

In 2023 70% of pupils were working at the expected standard, compared to 60% nationally.

Mathematics

In 2023 87% of pupils were working at the new expected standard, compared to 70% nationally.

Childcare Provision

Newton Hall Infants’ School does not currently offer childcare provision and wraparound care.
