Our School Day

Here is a breakdown of our school day:

At the beginning of the day the bell rings at 8.45am to give a good start at 8.50am. Staff are present on the playground from 8:40am. Children work 22 hours per week excluding breaks, Collective Worship and registration.

Children line up and are brought into school by their class teacher each morning.

If your child is late please bring them to the main office in order that register and dinner numbers can be altered. Please remember that it is better that your child attends late than not at all.

At the end of the school day the staff will see children out of their classroom door. Children are told to stay with the teacher until they see their adult. They are never to go off on their own. Any parent arriving late at the end of the day can collect their child from the office.

If any adult other than the usual adult is collecting the children at the end of the day please telephone to let us know that someone different will be coming. It is also helpful to know how they are known to the children, e.g. Auntie Joan, Mum‟s friend Jean, etc.
